"Smooth" Landen Bledsoe

So daddy bought Landen his first flight suit this week. And let me tell you this suit is impressive. It really looks like the real deal, patches and all. I couldn't wait to put it on him and snap some pictures. Landen was anything but cooperative (shock I know) but I did manage to get a few O.K. pictures (none wall worthy though). And with the flight suit comes Landen's "official" call sign, "Smooth" Landen Bledsoe. For you non Air Force readers out there, fighter pilots are assigned a call sign which is basically a nickname used in the squadron and in the air.

Whirlwind of a Weekend

Luke had his High School Reunion this weekend so this is a picture of us all cleaned up before the big event. Dinner was nice and Luke got to see a lot of old friends he hasn't seen in awhile.

On the way home to Indy and to drop daddy off at the airport. :( The weekend went by so fast!! We are already looking forward to our S. Carolina trip in less than 2 weeks.

Pumpkin Patch

While in Loogootee, we visited the Pumpkin Patch. We couldn't have asked for better weather and the country view was just gorgeous.

The Apple Orchard

I just love fall!! I have been so wanting to go to the apple orchand and we finally got to go today. We enjoyed apple picking, candy apples, and my favorite apple cider slushes. You just have to love Indiana this time of year.

We had a wonderful weekend in Loogootee. Grandma and Papaw were great hosts as usual, and spoiled us rotten. Here is a picture of my country boys coming back from squirrel hunting.
