Another Trip to the Zoo

The day after Christmas we took the family to one of Landen's favorite places, the zoo. Everyone had a great time and the weather was perfect!

Landen just loves his Uncle John!!

Notice the new Colts hat he got for Christmas :)

Update on Us

I am so sorry I haven't posted in so long. The movers decided to break our computer so we had to give it up for almost 2 weeks. Then once we finally got it back the holidays came, yadda, yadda, yadda, and now I'm here trying to catch you all up.

We have been settled into our new house for almost 2 months now. It finally feels like our home. My side of the family came to visit for Christmas and it was so nice having it in our first "real" home. Landen thoroughly enjoyed Christmas this year and Luke and I enjoyed the look of joy on his face as he opened each present. We are so thankful for him and the joy he brings in our life everyday. We can't wait til next year so we can experience the joy on both of our children's faces.

The 79th Christmas party. Look at that HUGE belly.

Landen loves his books

Santa (a.k.a GP) got Landen a Harley bike for Christmas. We can't keep him off of it! Thank you Grandpa Phil!

Our pretty Christmas tree! This was a close as we got to getting a family picture on Christmas. :)

Trip to the Zoo

The day after Thanksgiving we decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather and go to the Columbia Zoo. We had a great time and Landen got to see all of his favorite animals.
Mommy and Landen being strong like a lion. :)
Luke's new squadron is the 79th and their mascot is the Tiger so it was only appropriate to take a picture next to the tigers.

Landen loved seeing the giraffes.

Busy, Busy, BUSY!!

O.K. so we haven't posted any pictures in a long time, but give us a break we have been moving. :) And not just your typical AF move may I add, it's moving with a 19 month old and me being 30 weeks pregnant kind of move. Can we say craziness?!! And as you can see from the picture below we have some big news. We are not having a boy like the doctors in Phoenix originally told us. We are having a baby GIRL!!! Little Janna Lynn will be here soon!! I always knew it was a girl so when the ultrasound tech told us it was a girl, I sighed with relief because I knew I wasn't crazy!!
Here are some other random pictures from the last month or so.

Our New Home

We are back from our S. Carolina trip and we are happy to say that we found a house. Yippie!! We close no later than Nov. 7th. We are staying in Indy until we have to make the trip back down. We are so blessed to have found such a great house and look forward to all the memories to come!!

I will post more pictures once we get settled in. It's a new construction house so the inside is not quite picture ready yet.

Remembering the Good Old Times at Purdue

Before our big S. Carolina trip we decided to take a day trip to Purdue to look at planes, see our tree, and eat some yummy Chinese food. Yes, for those of you who don't know Luke and I have a tree. When we first started dating we engraved our initials on a tree in the park close to the aviation buildings. Every month we would go back to our tree and put a tick next to our initials indicating another month we had been together. Our tree is also where my wonderful hubby proposed. I was excited to see what our tree looked like and if it was even still there. It was there alright, but to our horror our beloved tree is starting to rot! We took one look at it and just started laughing hystericaly. It was sad and quite comical all at the same time. The good news is our side of the tree with our initials is still in good condition. We'll see in another 5 years if it is still standing or not.

Its a LONG way back to our tree!

Its so hard to believe it has been over 5 years since Luke flew at Purdue. We had so many great memories here.

Landen wants to be just like daddy when he grows up. We had to leave with him kicking and screaming because he wanted to stay in the plane.
