Trip to Charleston

Thursday, we kidnapped Luke from his busy work life and took off to Charleston. He has been so extremely busy with work so we were all looking foward to some much needed family time. We headed to Isle of Palms in Charleston, which was highly recommend by several people. We had a blast but are a little sad the getaway couldn't have lasted a little longer. We absolutely loved Charleston and can't wait to go back.

Spouse Taxi Ride

Monday, I got to taxi down the runway in the F-16. I have had a few chances in the past (Unfortunetly, I've either been pregnant or have had class), but this time I was actually able to make it. It was a great time and made me appreciate even more what my hubby does everyday.

Luke's job is so cool. I still can't believe he really flies this thing.

Lt. Col. "Rock" Bottomlee did a great job driving me around and putting up with my not so good radio calls. :)

Yes, I know, I look like a dork. Everything was so big on me, especially my helmet. :)

The Men Making Fire

We have had so much fun with Grandpa, Uncle John, and Aunt Ashley these last few days. Last night we made a fire pit in the backyard and roasted marshmellows. YUMMY!! Landen really enjoyed helping Uncle John start the fire.

My BIG Project

Since Luke has been gone I have been busy, busy, busy taking care of kids and working around the house. GG has been visiting which has allowed me to get much needed yard work done. I am very proud to say that I am finished with our flower bed. And I also mowed the yard using our lawn tracter, which I had never used before. Go Me!!
